ST. LOUIS, MO (JANUARY 20TH, 2011) Lance Dehm Racing is pleased to announce a new partnership with the SONIC Drive In, in Normal IL for the upcoming 2011 racing season. Sonic is the nations largest chain of drive-ins with 3,500 nationwide. In 2011, with the new Sonic sponsorship Lance Dehm will look to take the Fairbury Speedway Track Championship for the third straight year. The 2009 UMP Modified Midwest Region Champion will also be a strong competitor for the UMP title again throughout the season.
Twin Cities businessman Jim Morris said he has the contract with the Oklahoma based SONIC for the Bloomington, Normal IL region. Our first location at Fort Jesse and Veterans Parkway in the Wal-Mart parking lot will open late spring 2011 with a second location in Bloomington opening about a year later. Morris said he's committed to having the popular Sonic carhops, who deliver food while on roller skates, at both the twin cities locations. Sonic is happy to announce their new partnership with Lance Dehm Racing and looks forward to success both on and off the race track.
